After losing her husband near the holidays a few years ago, Nikki Maucere created The Fairy Godmothers to matching “Fairygodmother” donors with widowed parents, a movement that received major press during 2021 and grew to support hundreds of parents that didn’t have to buy presents for themselves during the holidays.
